Realmente me siento emocionado cada vez que estos alemanes sacan un nuevo disco. Sonaron y suenan poderosos siempre!!! Y a este álbum se lo puede describir con dos palabras... "Thunder & Steele" que más puedo decir... que me han gustado TODOS los temas!!! Para los que no conozcan a STORMWARRIOR sus canciones están muy influenciadas por Helloween, trozos de Manowar, también fracciones de speed metal británico, al estilo de Saxon, y bueno, lo mejor de lo mejor.

Heavy metal con sonido ochentero que invita fácimente a desgarrarse el cuello... jajaja. Un disco de fácil digestión, corto y muy disfrutable, con una buena descarga de riffs veloces e intensos que pondrán a mover tu cuerpo... Así que eso, a mover el esqueleto!!! RECOMENDADO.

No tenía idea que existieran, son ecuatorianos residentes en Nueva York y llevan algunos años juntos. A finales de 2013 por fin publican su primer álbum "Mundo Gris", un disco lleno de power metal melódico, que según sus integrantes tiene mucha influencia de bandas como: Warcry, Heavenly, Skylark, Angra, Andre Matos, Rhapsody Of Fire, Saratoga etc. etc. etc. A mi me ha gustado mucho, esperemos que se den una vuelta por la patria y poder apreciarlos en vivo, saben que desde este espacio tendran todo el apoyo a su trabajo. Bien por ustedes hermanos y ñeque con el metal ecuatoriano!!!

Un gran disco de un gran músico!!! Su sonido tiene marca registrada y es lo que lo distingue del resto. Un álbum sobresaliente, mucho mejor que su predecesor, hermosas baladas y canciones con el típico toque Purplediano que ha obligado a poner "repeat one" jajaja. Aparte encontré unos covers muy al estilo Axel como ese himno "Hey Hey My My" de Neil Young que suena muy atmosférico pero igual se disfruta grandemente!!! No creo que haga falta recomendar... es obligación tenerlo!!!

Esta banda tiene un montón de buenas cualidades a su favor, tienen riffs de guitarra muy pegadizos, canciones liricamente interesantes y con mucha melodía. Ahora, para mi gusto personal, el inconveniente que le veo a la banda es la cantante, la verdad no parece tener ningún rango vocal, a mi me aburrió su cantar... Pero bueno, en sí me parece un álbum muy interesante. RECOMENDADO!!!

La verdad no conocía esta banda, y de sus discos éste me ha gustado mucho. No es muy melódico le veo más cercano al thrash metal con fuertes líricas y una poderosa voz, y a propósito eso, es el último álbum con el vocalista Andy "Henner" Allendörfer, que muere en un accidente de auto en el 2005.

Bien, la verdad me ha gustado!!! Es un heavy metal con un sonido totalmente distinto, mucho más directo con mucha melodía. Una serie de canciones que, con una mejor producción, podrían dar mucho de que hablar. RECOMENDADO!!!

No podía dejar de publicar uno de los mejores álbums del año que pasó. Los de Budapest han hecho un grandioso y ampuloso disco muy al estilo de Rhapsody of Fire y Dragonforce, con las inclinaciones sinfónicas de Nightwish o Stratovarius. Pilar fundamental es sin duda su vocalista Gabor Nagy, capáz de impresionar con su sobria y potente voz. Así que sin más les dejo con uno de los mejores del 2013!!!

Estos chinos ya habían dejado un buen sabor de boca con su primer álbum, pues ahora con éste trabajo demuestran que la cosa va en serio y más aún con la sorpresa que me he llevado... Tienen de vocalista a un revelación del año pasado, hablo de Thomas Winkler, vocalista de Emerald y Gloryhammer, estos últimos que sorprendieran en el 2013. RECOMENDADÍSIMO!!!!
